Pakistan accedes to Apostille Convention on legalisation of public documents

In a welcoming news, Pakistan has approved the accession to Apostille Convention (Hague) with the President's endorsement of the instrument of accession. The Convention is expected to be implemented domestically within six months. The accession to the Apostille Convention and exiting the FATF grey list (which is expected in the ongoing plenary meeting of FATF in Berlin) will improve the ease of doing business and boost the confidence of foreign investors operating or interested in the Pakistani market.
