Business Opportunities Pakistan
On 12th January 2024, Usama Munir head of the SCHLÜTER GRAF’s Pakistan practice attended an event co-organized by Industrie- und Handelskammer Frankfurt am Main (IHK), German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), VDMA and Pakistan Consulate General Frankfurt on the Business Opportunities in Pakistan.
Usama spoke on the German Supply Chain Act and its effects on the international companies operating in Pakistan. Usama was accompanied by other worthy speakers including H.E. Ambassador Saqlain Syedah, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Germany, Mr. Oliver Oehms and Mr. Muhammad Usman from German Emirati Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ms. Amna Naeem commercial counselor, Mr. Boris Abadjieff from VDMA, Mr. Gerold Gonska from Trützschler GmbH & Co. KG who highlighted the opportunities and challenges of doing business in Pakistan.
The event was well attended from both the Pakistan and German sides and provided an opportunity for the participants to engage in the topics of mutual interest.
