Live Event: HR 2.0 - Practical Impact of the new UAE Labor Law on your Business
SCHLÜTER GRAF and Departer - The German Headhunter, together with The German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) will host a live event on HR 2.0 - Practical Impact of the new UAE Labor Law on your Business on Wednesday, 23 March 2022 at 8:30 AM UAE Time at MediaOne Hotel, Dubai Media City. In this live event we will highlight the key elements of the new UAE Labor Law with a particular focus on anti-harassment / anti-bullying aspects and flexible work arrangements.
This event is aimed at HR managers / HR decision makers and will feature a lively discussion and Q&A session with industry experts.
About the Speakers:
- Marie-Christin Gabel (Managing Partner MEAI, Departer – The German Headhunter) is an experienced HR executive with 16 years of working experience in the UAE. She is Managing Partner MEAI of the company Departer-The German Headhunter, providing Executive Search to companies headquartered in the DACH region. Driven by her passion for HR and Consulting, she takes pride in providing the best client and candidate experience possible and builds bridges between requirements and market conditions. In addition to her primary job functions, Marie-Christin is currently pursuing an education as Executive Coach to assist managers to advance in their careers.
- Andrés Ring (Partner, SCHLÜTER GRAF) is a Managing Partner in the Dubai office of SCHLÜTER GRAF. He studied law in Passau and served as a trainee lawyer in Düsseldorf and Buenos Aires; he is admitted to the bar in Frankfurt am Main. Andrés has over 14 years of international experience, specializing in the business laws of the Middle East and Emerging Markets. His practice is centered around corporate matters (joint ventures, M&A, re-structuring), employment and HR topics, distribution and production structures, infrastructure projects as well as contentious matters.
- Barbara Lebar (Co-Founder, Hansen Beck) is an entrepreneur and business consultant/trainer. She challenges participants in their performances out of their comfort zone and drives entrepreneurial thinking. Barbara started her career in the IT industry and got a glimpse into government environment as Finance Manager. She continued her sales career in Avon CEE Germany and supported the merger of Sony and Ericsson Mobile division as Credit Risk Manager, in charge of EMEA region. In 2005, Barbara joined Gustav Kaeser International, as Sales Manager and Trainer. She opened Gustav Kaeser’s Bulgarian and Turkish entities and expanded to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Since 2021, she works on Advanced Air Mobility projects combining her engineering background with passion for sustainable aviation.
- Mohammed Hassan (Managing Director, Slashy) is the Managing Director of Slashy, an on-demand booking platform connecting shift-based industries with experienced part-time professionals in the UAE.
